Rapid Testing

The management team at Musket has been working hard to get access to all of the recommended tools to help combat COVID-19. Starting this Monday, April 26, all personnel (including students, mechanics, drivers, support staff, etc.) can request a rapid test.

We recommend testing to everyone on a volunteer basis only. If you are interested, please reach out directly to Melanie.Ackers@musket.ca or your direct supervisor. As for drivers, please reach out directly to Josh.Potts@musket.ca to request your rapid test.

Thank you to all of our staff for taking the necessary precautions during this time.

Helpful links

We find it best to get information from reliable sources like the Ontario Ministry of Health, World Health Organization, Public Health Agency of Canada (links below). The best advice is to consult Telehealth Ontario and/or a physician if you need clarification or confirmation of any information. If we are all conscientious and follow the advice of the professionals we can minimize our own risk and help stop the spread of the COVID-19 Corona virus.

Hygiene Etiquette

It’s always a good reminder to practice effective hygiene etiquette. These healthy habits will not only help prevent the spread of coronavirus but also more common illnesses such as colds and flues. This includes:

  • Hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Maintaining at least two-meter distance between yourself and anyone, regardless of symptoms.
  • Coughing and sneezing into a facial tissue and if none are available use your elbow or shoulder ( or the towels that were provided by Musket. Please remember to wash your towels each day with water and soap after they have been used)
  • Avoiding touching your face, especially your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Throw away used facial tissues immediately after they have been used.
